You are invited to participate in a research study titled “Bridging the Gap: A Study on the Alignment of University Training and Market Expectations in User Experience Design Majors”. This study aims to identify the specific skills and proficiency levels professional designers value most in entry-level practitioners and to uncover potential gaps in current academic curricula. Your insights will help inform improvements in UI/UX design education, student guidance, and professional development programs.
You will be asked to complete an online survey and help educators understand the importance of approximately 38 specific UI/UX skills as UX designer. The survey will take approximately 10 – 15 minutes.
After completing the survey, you may choose to enter your email address into a separate, non-linked questionnaire for a $10 Amazon e-gift card.
Participation is entirely voluntary. Your responses will be de-identified and any identifying information, such as your email for the compensation, will be stored separately and destroyed after prizes are distributed.
